It’s been three years since I had a birthday bash. Overdue.
Dave and Mel and Kayla, Lonnon and DJ came early while I was still getting set up. DJ played with Wilson so happily. Mama arrived with Scott.
Then Fred came. I missed my Fred buddy.
Then it got wild (its all relative) and loud. Olivia and Dylan, Jamie and Ben, Jon and Brogan, Fred and Kathy, then Kailee came. We ate.
Moved outside on the patio. Olivia and Dylan getting to know Jon and Brogan, being entertained by little Emerson. And Wilson. People leaving. Then Summer and Linc came. Pam. We all sat and talked a long time. Summer and Linc stayed the longest.
I loved every minute of it. Three desserts. Lovely weather. Great friends. Hugs and laughter.
