I had a great weekend. Friday the weather was amazing. I had a play date set up for Wilson with our golden retriever friend Obi and his mama Olivia. We let the dogs play like crazy and then ran over and got our buddy Natalie. We got take out from Gordon’s Mexican in aggieville and ate it on the back patio. We laughed so hard.
Immediately after, I met Andrea at Homestead and we drove over to Deb’s and jumped in with her. We laughed all the way to Topeka, ate at Red Lobster, then went over to see our Sandy. Sandy was the first house manager at Homestead. I’ve wanted to see her for ever so long. She didn’t know I was coming so the surprise was very fun. We sat in Sandy’s apartment and laughed hard. Sandy gave us each a cross necklace.
Saturday was for shopping and getting things done around the house, napping, and getting my nails done. I took Mama and she treated. Bonus, I got the oil changed across the street while we were getting our nails did. Boom. Finish out the night with beating Scott at ping pong and some time together on the deck cuddled up in blankets and starting a new netflix series, Mankind, and talks on facetime with both Hannah and Joel.
Sunday I was able to go back to bed, a rare treat. Then Scott and I worked out at 9 rounds together. I made homemade pop tarts and we had a very good staff meeting at Brothers.
